Print on rigid substrates up to 16 mm thick and 15 kg in weight, and on roll media up to 30 kg in weight. The ValueJet 1628MH hybrid printer produces high-quality prints on the widest range of rigid and roll media, such as ABS, aluminum sandwich panels, cardboard, non-PVC substrates, PE, PET, PMMA, PVC foam board, recycled fiber paper, uncoated polyester, Tyvek, and heat-sensitive substrates.
The VJ-1628MH comes with Mutoh's 8-color MP31 resin-based inks: C, M, Y, K, Orange, Green, Blue, and White. These inks provide a very wide color gamut and ensure extremely accurate color reproduction thanks to the extensive range of orange, green, and blue tones. The high-opacity white inks allow printing on both transparent and colored substrates. MP31 inks are also highly stretchable and shrinkable, making them ideal for thermoforming, vacuum forming, and shrink applications. Another unique feature of Mutoh's versatile inks is their ability to preserve the natural texture and appearance of substrates, such as matte or glossy finishes.
