Mutoh MP31 Multi-Purpose Inks

Mutoh's eight-color MP31 ink set—CMYK, Orange, Green, Blue, White—offers a very wide color gamut and extremely accurate color reproduction. MP stands for "Multi-Purpose," referring to the inks' unique capabilities and extreme versatility. The inks allow direct printing on white, transparent, and colored media, both roll and rigid. Mutoh's MP31 series inks have UV durability of up to two years outdoors without lamination.*

MP31 inks are ideally suited for applications involving high stretching or shrinking stresses, such as thermoforming, vacuum forming, and shrink wrapping. Another unique and attractive feature of Mutoh's MP31 inks is that they do not require any special inkjet coating and preserve the natural texture and appearance of the substrates, including, for example, matte or glossy finishes.

MP31 ink is a unique alternative for existing printing companies that are not interested in UV alternatives and for those exploring high-quality printing applications on "exotic" media types, generally unsuitable for inkjet printing. Furthermore, the white ink and its extreme stretch and shrink resistance open up entirely new application possibilities.
