- Warranty duration:
- General warranty: 36 months (electronic and mechanical)
- Printhead: 12 months limited warranty
- The following parts and consumables are excluded from the warranty:
- Cartridges
- Pump Cap Assy
- Wiper
- Ink System Assy
- Maintenance cartridge (waste ink tank)
- The warranty period begins upon installation of the machine. Upon installation, the product must be registered to begin the warranty period.
- Warranty conditions:
The warranty only covers parts that are defective due to a manufacturing defect during the warranty period of the respective printer. This means:
- In case of damage due to negligence of applications, or when the machine is used in a manner different from that described in the machine's operating manual, the warranty will be void.
- The warranty becomes void as soon as modifications or alterations to the product are made without prior written authorization.
- The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, accident, abuse, neglect, natural causes such as fire, explosion, storm, flood, wind, lightning and or any other cause, including electrical surge, insufficient or excessive electrical power, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, problematic inks, or any disassembly, repair, use of improper media, improper packaging or improper maintenance.
- The warranty covers only the replacement of defective parts and inks and does not include labor or other costs incurred due to damage.
- The warranty is only valid if Polyprint inks are used exclusively on the printer. If a third party ink has been used, the warranty will be void. Photos of the lot number on the ink bottles will be required for any warranty claim.
- Basic, weekly and monthly maintenance should be followed as described in the printer's user manual.
- Items replaced under warranty will be either new or refurbished to a level of functionality equal to a new part. These parts do not extend the product warranty.
- Damaged Parts - All defective items must be returned to Must Technologie within 30 days.
- If damaged parts are not returned to Must Technologie within 30 days, all costs of the items will be charged.
Warranty approval will be granted or denied, after inspection of the returned defective parts. Must Technologie reserves the right to refuse replacement if inspection of the returned parts shows that the damaged parts have been abused or misused in any way. Must Technologie 's decision at this point will be final.
- Returned parts and/or machines must be properly packaged for transport, preferably in their original packaging. If this is not possible, please ensure that adequate protection is applied. Electrical items must be wrapped in anti-static packaging before placing them in a box.
- Polyprint inks and pre-treatment, if defective due to a manufacturing defect, are covered by warranty which is valid until the expiration date written on the ink bottles. Photos of the bottle(s) with the batch number must be included in the warranty claim when requesting ink replacement.
- Polyprint inks are not covered under warranty if the defect is caused by transportation, improper packaging, storage or use of the inks.
- Limited Warranty for Printhead
- The printhead has a twelve-month limited warranty.
- The warranty covers the replacement of One (1) printhead only.
- The printhead is covered under warranty only if Polyprint inks are used. Warranty is void when any other ink is used. Photos of the lot number on the ink bottles will be required for any warranty claim.
- Warranty approval will be granted only if the printhead is permanently blocked / nozzles missing more than 5% (9 nozzles) on one channel (color or white) of the total (180nozzles).
- A new printhead supplied under warranty does not extend the warranty on the product or the printhead.
- If the printer's total prints exceed 3250, the warranty will be void.
- Must Technology does not guarantee damage resulting from improper use, improper or incomplete maintenance of the product. Basic, weekly and monthly maintenance must be followed as described in the printer user manual.
- If the print head is damaged or nozzles get blocked due to print head accident, the warranty will be void.
- Must Technologie does not guarantee damages if the expiration date of the ink is exceeded. In addition, caused by transportation, improper packaging, storage or use of the inks, the warranty is void. Photos of the batch number and the date written on the ink bottles will be necessary for any warranty claim.
- Costs
- The warranty covers the cost of spare parts. All other costs incurred such as technician labor, travel expenses to the customer's premises, etc. must be covered by the customer.
- Must Technologie reserves the right to charge for all returned products if they are damaged due to improper packaging.
- If a printer under warranty is sent to Must Technologie for repair, the warranty covers the replacement of defective parts and in-house labor, and does not include transportation or other costs.
- Items sent under warranty, which after inspection of the returned damaged parts prove not to be applicable to the warranty, will also be charged (including inspection fees), after refusal of warranty. Therefore, consult the Must Technologie technical support service before requesting a replacement under warranty.
